Kathy Urschel lost her sight at the age of 21 and her hearing seven years later. She went on to get a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and win the silver medal in the Olympics/Paralympics in Atlanta. Kathy was the first woman to complete the Triathlon Across America. And she did it with gusto, courage, and good cheer while blind and deaf, having had concussion, broken bones, and a stroke. Kathy continued to train to compete in cycling events and worked as a massage therapist, before dying unexpectedly in 2010. Enjoy this rare interview, and read more about Kathy here http://www.syracuse.com/poliquin/index.ssf/2010/11/the_truth_of_the_matter_is_tha.html
