This could either be filled with great advice or stuffed with ideas for how women should work on appealing to men. I decided to take my chances and, because I'm writing about this here, I'm pretty sure you've guessed that I really enjoyed the book. I had to get over some style preferences, but, when I got down to the heart of the book, I found it truly inspiring. Written by Maryanne Comaroto, self proclaimed relationship expert, the book focuses on building six essential skills that teach you to love and respect yourself so that you can find and enjoy a functioning, commitment, and loving relationship with someone else. Though this is technically a relationship book, it's filled with more insights on self-love than on romantic love and, most importantly, it breaks down the stereotype of "happily ever after," something I'm always down for.
